EpiGen and Nestlé Research have studied cohorts of older patients (Hertfordshire Sarcopenia Study Cohort; Jamaica Sarcopenia Cohort; Ageing in a Community Environment Study, Singapore) for the Sarcopenia Project (MEMOSA: Multi-Ethnic Molecular Determinants of Human Sarcopenia), aiming to determine the molecular changes associated with sarcopenia conditions at the transcriptomic, proteomic and nutritional level using an integrative biology approach. The project commenced December 2014 and was completed in 2019.
