Following her degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southampton, Jo spent a number of years working in the NHS, local council and charity sectors as a project manager. In 2011 Jo joined the University of Southampton as Head of Quality Management for the Clinical Trials Unit where she ensured that the trials and studies being conducted met appropriate regulatory standards. She successfully navigated the unit through an MHRA inspection. Jo joined the EpiGen consortium in 2018 as Head of Operations. Her remit is to ensure delivery of the scientific strategy and lead on the operational aspects of the consortium.
