Judith holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Auckland and qualifications in international business and marketing. She has experience in business development as well as operations, contract, project and programme management. Prior to joining EpiGen in 2016, Judith was Strategic Operating Officer of a national research centre of excellence based at the Liggins Institute at the University of Auckland. She currently shares her time between EpiGen and EpiGen partner, Auckland UniServices Ltd – the University of Auckland’s commercialisation arm. The two roles are closely aligned – for the latter, Judith manages a bio-medical research portfolio of international collaborations in the UK, Singapore, Brazil and China. She also travels to China on a regular basis to identify and strengthen research collaboration and commercial opportunities for both the Consortium and University of Auckland researchers in pre-clinical and clinical research.
